primaryonics is an investigation of primary colors. palette limitations are red, yellow and blue. color is applied opaquely, translucently and transparently.

these paintings are an immediate respond to 9/11. paintings created from 9/13/01 to 3/02. it wasn't a big leap for me to juxtapose the organic images i was creating to two rectangles or two broad brush marks.
